At Mirus Promotions, our shared company culture and values not only shape how we work, but why we work. As an experiential marketing company, we strive to uphold our core competencies in everything we do, from how we run daily operations, to how we treat our employees and clients. Our goal to make a positive impact transcends a strictly business-oriented focus; we desire to use our resources to affect those in need around the world.

Partnering with B1G1 since February of 2017, we have made over 9,500 giving impacts to date, by matching our number of impact donations to our number of monthly activations. This total includes 1,000 days of business training to women in Africa, 1,000 days of higher education to disadvantaged children, 3,447 days of transportation for children to get to school, education for 644 people on proper animal care for a more sustainable lifestyle, and 3,403 days of access to life-saving clean water to people in Africa.

“We have always made it a priority to give back to our local community in both time and financial resources through fundraising efforts for organizations such as March of Dimes, Make a Wish-San Diego, The Breast Cancer Fundraiser and UC San Diego’s Moores Cancer Center,” said Julie Seal-Gaustad, Mirus Promotions CEO. “When I was introduced to B1G1 during the founder’s presentation at the Business Excellence Forum Conference in Houston, Texas, I was excited to get on board. The organization allows Mirus to have more of a global impact, while involving all of our clients, office staff and field workers. By partnering with B1G1, we can say that every time our clients do business with us and our team completes a brand activation, something really good happens.”

Dogfish Head

Beer & Benevolence

Dogfish Head’s Beer & Benevolence program is their way of giving back to their roots in the coastal Delaware community, reaching over 150 non-profits each year. Just last year, they raised $145,000 for The Nature Conservancy during their annual Dogfish Dash, gifted $30,000 to DE Botanic Gardens to help construct an Outdoor Classroom and $25,000 to the Rehoboth Film Society, and their tasting room team gave away their tips ($50,000+) to over a dozen non-profits. During the 2017 annual ‘Benevolence Day’ that occurs each spring, co-workers rolled up their sleeves and worked alongside Habitat for Humanity to remove invasive species with Delaware Nature Society. They also helped with a variety of trail maintenance with The Nature Conservancy just up the road from the brewery.

Using Herbal Tea as a Force for Good

Pukka’s mission is to inspire others to lead a more conscious life, striving to create a planet benefiting people, plants and planet. From Fair for Life to FairWild, Pukka has worked hard to pioneer new ways to ensure that they are making an impactful contribution to global equality and relief of poverty. Additionally, they give 1% of their turnover to support for not-for-profit environmental organizations.

Hemp Love

Gourmet Chocolate Bars: For the Sweet Tooth and the Sweet Heart

In addition to being organic, vegan and Rainforest Alliance certified, Hemp Love is committed to supporting organizations that leverage the bond between animals and humans in miraculous ways that enrich the lives of all involved. The company pledges 12% of their net profits to Animal Assistance Programs that service the elderly, ability-limited, combat-wounded, emotionally distressed and first responders. 2017-2019 Pledge recipients include Search Dog Foundation, Hearts and Hands Animal Rescue, Assistance Dogs International, Ride above Disability, and Equine Advocates Rescue and Sanctuary.
